Treebath Explorers is an entirely outdoors after school program where children explore their connection with nature. We currently offer our programs in New York City in The Battery, Central Park and Prospect Park.

Our unique sustainability curriculum combines forest therapy with playful elements of the Swedish outdoor associations' sixty-year old children’s program. Children discover the wonders of nature, learn about plants and animals, and develop a life-long respect for the world we live in.

School Pick-Up

Current Schools

For our Spring 2018 Sessions, we will be offering pick-up after school for children enrolled in our program at the Battery Park School (PS276) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, or Spruce Street School (PS397) on Wednesdays only.  In order to allow us to pick up your child, you must fill out a form to notify your child's teacher your child has permission to be picked up by one of our staff.  These forms are provided upon registration in a Session.

New Schools Added

We are continuousally adding pick-up at additional schools. Please email us at youmatter@tree-bath.com if you would like to see pick-up offered at your school for Fall 2018. If there are more than 6 children at one school, pick up will be arranged.

“Fun!”

My class was fun because we got to find and touch shiny, glittery rocks! And we got to look for special leaves. They were green, brown, and red. I liked being with my friends from school playing outside!

We saw worms!”

My class was on a rainy day. The ground was mushy and slimy, so we saw lots of worms and looked at them in our magnifying cups! I loved stomping in mud too!
