Rachel Geier graduated from Queens College with a B.A. in Studio Art with minors in Anthropology and Secondary Education. She has over twelve years experience working with children in a variety of educational settings as a classroom teacher as well as an art teacher. She has worked as a Visual Arts Instructor, teaching drawing, painting, sculpture, and ceramics, at the USDAN Center for the Creative and Performing Arts on Long Island. 

Rachel is an Educator at the Tribeca Community School, a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool. She is passionate about the Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy because it empowers children, honors each of their unique qualities and embraces limitless modes of self-expression. One of Rachel’s favorite aspects of teaching is to help cultivate children’s excitement and sense of wonderment about nature.

Rachel is certified in Pediatric First Aid & CPR.
